Getting To Huntsville:
From Ottawa in the East: (other than highway 401) Take highway 17 North to highway 60 West - go through Algonquin Park through Dwight and just before you reach Huntsville- Turn left at the first stop light unto Deerhurst Canal Rd./ Muskoka Rd. 23 .You will soon see Steamer's Restaurant on the left . See the fork in the road .At the fork in the road, turn right and go over the canal bridge. After 1/2 km turn 90 degrees left at a yellow sign that says" Woodland Heights", still on paved Muskoka 23. DO NOT GO UP A HILL AT THIS POINT . Go 1.3 km to Put-in-Bay Road .Carefully read signs for safety.Watch for cars coming down the hill, and then go straight onto gravel road. Putter 2 km until you reach # 1231 Put-in-Bay Road. Watch for a wishing well at entrance and the name Musselman. You are now at "Woodland Springs" B&B.
From the North: Take highway 11 from North Bay to highway 60 East of Huntsville
From the South: Take highway 400 North in Toronto (off highway 401 which runs East and West) Just past Barrie, Highway 400 becomes highway 11 at the Parry Sound cut off. Keep in the lane that will take you to Orillia/past Gravenhurst towards North Bay. Always go with the sign that says towards North Bay. At the third cut off into Huntsville turn right unto highway 60 which will take you east towards Algonquin Park /Ottawa.
When You Arrive in Huntsville:
Take highway # 60 [In total you go through 4 sets of stoplights along # 60] newly expanded to 4 lanes, past the stoplights on Muskoka 3 [main street] to Muskoka 23 (Deerhurst -Canal Rd.) Turn right here at the large Deerhurst sign. You will soon see Steamer's Restaurant on the left . See the fork in the road .At the fork in the road, turn right and go over the canal bridge. After 1/2 km turn 90 degrees left at a yellow sign that says" Woodland Heights", still on paved Muskoka 23. DO NOT GO UP A HILL AT THIS POINT . Putter 2 km until you reach # 1231 Put-in-Bay Road. Watch for a wishing well at entrance and the name Musselman. You are now at "Woodland Springs" B&B.
