"Hello Gaye - David and I had a great first anniversary day with you and George. We enjoyed both of you very much. You have a comfortable," pull up a chair in front of the fire and relax," kind of home. You are very lucky. We have been telling every one about Woodland Springs B&B and the incredible breakfast. We had mentioned to you about the relaxing way to eat cheese. The spelling of the cheese is "Raclette" and can be found in the German delis. If you have time, I would enjoy the recipe for the cheese hors d'eouvres as well as the Apple Pan Dowdy. (You are such a great cook!) David and I were impressed with the cooking class you have arranged as well as dinner on the Saturday evening with Rory Golden. We are heading for Florida and we were talking about taking the class when we return. Again, we had a great time and thanks for the boat ride. Really made our day. Keep in touch if you can. Take care of each other."

"We have travelled the world but we have never had a breakfast menu like the one served at Woodland Springs. The tastes, the variety, and excellent cooking made breakfast a culinary delight. The scenery, setting and hospitality of George and Gaye made our stay here a definite future topic of conversation among friends. We return to the "big smoke " relaxed, refreshed and full of clean air. THANK YOU"

"Dear Gaye and George - I am sitting on your gazebo perch overlooking a glassy blue lake. The wind is still and the loons quiet. What a sight. The moment is breathtaking. We have been to many spots around the world but none are more welcoming and warm than this! The food exotic; the scenery breathtaking and the host and hostess friendly, helpful and caring. We will remember and savour this moment until we return again in a couple of years."

"Dear Gaye and George, Thank you for welcoming us so warmly into your country home B&B. The trip here was lovely. The trip down memory lane was astonishing .After 20 years who'd believe we'd meet again and be talking about Irving! I guess beauty, art and poetry do bring the world together after all. If I get to work on that book and need an escape from the city I know just who to call! Thanks also for the exquisite breakfast, which was such a treat. Andrea and I really enjoyed our experience. All the best."

Just for fun .....

There was once a woman named Gaye
Who had such a great place to stay
In the morning she'd wake
Such a breakfast she'd make
That her guests didn't want to go 'way!
